The Skadoosh stand has the added "flip" support that makes it incredibly stable when you are using your iPad. It also allows the iPad to be adjusted to any angle when it is in either landscape or portrait orientation.
The Skadoosh Stand can accommodate bare iPads, iPads covered in a thin protective film*, and iPads with thin cases. There is an adjustable crossbar attached to the rocker to provide added support and a custom fit for your iPad or iPad/case combo. The rocker has 2 rubber pads that grip and protect the front of your iPad.
The Skadoosh can handle cases that add up to 3mm (1/8") to the thickness of the iPad along the edges where it sits in the rocker. Here's a list of compatible and incompatible case...
*If you are using thin protective film, like Zagg, the rocker might leave small indentations where the rubber inserts grip the bezel of your iPad.

Really nice and beautifully made

This is a holder for ones iPad--- it's beautifully made-- so even though it's pricey, when you actually see it it doesn't seem overpriced. I'd really give it a 4.5 --My only reason for not giving a higher score was I wanted to use it more and be sure that the mechanism that allows the iPad to be tilted continues to function easily and with no problems-- I think it will-- Other great feature is it has a very low profile so would be very easy to carry about when traveling.

Beautifully engineered, this stand is perfect for my iPad, whether I'm surfing the web, watching a video, or checking email. Love the fact that I can choose any angle. Great product!

I never write reviews but made a point of writing this one as I think it deserves it. Spent some time looking around the internets for a stand that wasn't huge and heavy but was also very stable, particularly in portrait. This stand is very well designed, super portable and does exactly what I want it to do. I don't believe there is actually a better iPad stand out there. Excellent support, multi angles, portrait or landscape. One thing which I found lacking from other reviews, video or otherwise was a demonstration of the resistance provided to touch. The extreme test being pushing the top edge of the standing ipad at a high angle in portrait. I would recommend folding out the stands support base when in this mode but even with it folded away the amount of pressure I could apply with my touch to the screen with almost no 'give' from the stand was really great. I want the iPad not to move when touching it, should feel like its resting against an immovable object and the rubber grip feet and fold out metal extender achieve this beautifully. I was also concerned about the screen of the iPad getting scratched where it meets the 'mouth' of the stand, again not a problem due to small rubber cushion inserts where the plastic meets the glass. I have a case on my iPad which fits no problem as the rear bar is adjustable to allow for this and I can even charge while in portrait and with the longer old iPod charging cable. Overall very happy with this product, surprising Apple hasn't come up with something similar considering how good it is. Actually looks very much like an apple product with the brushed metal finish. 5 Stars, reasonable price, only downside for me is the price of tracked shipping to the South Pacific but at least they do ship here ;)

This is a very high quality product and worth every cent it cost. Truly a case of you get what you pay for. I've tried other stands and they proved to be inadequate, but this stand is small enough to be portable yet sturdy enough to type on when positioned in either the portrait or landscape orientations without being rocky. It's fully adjustable; unlike most of the stands on the market, and it's sturdy in every position.

This stand is exactly what I wanted and it's the best stand for iPads on the market. The quality is unmatched by any other product. I can adjust it to any angle, it's small and compact for travel and very well made. I love it!

This is the ultimate iPad stand! Period!
I tried it at my own house and will now use it for home automation projects at my customers residences.
The first responses speak for themselves. Everybody is impressed by the design and functionality at a reasonable price point.
It is stable, still flexible.
It is high tech, still blends in with all interiors.
It works for any iPad and I am sure it will be adapted to any new model without having to buy a new one.

The workmanship, the design, the usefulness and flexibility for uses is beyond compare and an instrument deserving use by the beautiful Apple product it cradles and protects. Well worth the price.

This stand has been a great purchase.
I bought it right at the start of the iPad's reign and am happy to have done so, it goes with me if I travel and sits happily at home next to my Imac when I am at home...

My skasoosh is serving me well. Since my ipad had replaced my laptop it is a necessary travel companion. It is, by far, the best stand in the market. Every time I pull it out and set up shop someone wants to talk about it.
